The Design Department’s philosophy hinges on the premise that the practice of architecture is a dynamic and participatory process. For over twenty five years, we have demonstrated the ability to reconcile diverse and challenging goals into concise and effective solutions. We are well qualified to recognize and respond to the specific needs of each client and project. We strive to address those needs as a unique set of opportunities to be realized.
At F. A. Baker, we also acknowledge an obligation to our clients to remain on the cutting edge of the computer technology associated within the realm of all Architectural and Engineering applications. This enables us to extend the most cost effective and efficient solutions to all clients.
Supervision Department provides on-site construction engineering services for all types of projects. These services range from monitoring of the construction process to full time management. The services rendered vary depending on the owner’s needs and the requirements of each particular project. The Division takes a project from the design phase and follows it through to a successful completion in the field. The most important resource we bring to our projects is our staff and their experience. We base our competence on the principles of time-privileged ethnicity of quality workmanship and customer service.

Our History
Over the years, we have assembled a talented staff of architects, engineers, planners, construction inspectors and support personnel led by Architect Ramesh Dhas, Managing Partner, whose goal is to consistently provide high quality services and meet client schedule objectives. Together, these individuals create the most qualified Project Design Teams available to provide the expertise to carry various civil engineering projects through all facets of project development and construction. Over the past forty two (42) years, we have served many communities and local industries in a variety of professional roles. Our clientele includes Government of Dubai, Department of Health & Medical Services, Development Board, Shk. Zayed’s Housing program, Private Housing Finance Scheme (PHFS), as well as many private sector clients and well known families throughout the U.A.E.
